Charita Weekly is a dual-certified nurse practitioner with over 15 years of experience in healthcare. She is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with three years of experience and a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) with more than twelve years of dedicated service.
Charita earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from St. Xavier University in Chicago and completed her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and Family Nurse Practitioner program at Rush University. She further advanced her education by completing a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
Her diverse clinical background spans a variety of settings, including retail clinics, occupational health, worksite clinics, outpatient primary care, urgent care, and outpatient psychiatry. Charita has treated individuals across the lifespan and from a wide range of backgrounds. She utilizes evidence-based practices and strong clinical judgment to assess, diagnose, and treat a broad spectrum of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, ASD, ADHD, and personality disorders.
Charita believes in a holistic approach to care, recognizing the essential connection between mind and body. She is passionate about providing compassionate healthcare that reduces suffering, promotes healing, and empowers individuals to achieve their optimal well-being. She considers it a privilege and one of her greatest accomplishments to serve others through her role in healthcare.
Outside of her professional life, Charita enjoys exercising, traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, and watching football.
