Dr. Khaleghian is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has been practicing in the Los Angeles area for over 15 years and is currently located in Santa Monica, California. Dr. Khaleghian offers psychotherapy in-office, via telehealth, and at-home. Dr. Khaleghian provides psychotherapy in both English and Farsi. Born and raised in Manhattan Beach, California, she received a Bachelor of Arts from Chapman University, majoring in psychology and graduating with honors.
She then completed a Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) Program at California School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Khaleghian later earned her Doctorate (PSY.D.) and Masters (MA) in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) at Alliant International University. Both programs are accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program and The Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE). Dr. Khaleghian’s focus in graduate school was treating Families and Couples, with a speciality in Couples and Sex Therapy. Her training and published research was focused on romantic relationships as well as treating addiction (Dual-Diagnosis/ Chemical Dependency).
